Beehiiv is a newsletter platform that’s grown into a monetization ecosystem.
I started this newsletter in January 2025 to help people discover they really can earn money online — it’s not as hard as you think.
My newsletter started as a side hustle as an extra revenue stream, I want you to create your own newsletter this year and share your successes with us.
Here’s 5 monetization strategies I used to make money in 2025.
1. Beehiiv Ads — How Do You Get Paid?
Beehiiv has their own built in Ad-Network that allows you to places ads on your newsletter and get paid between $1.50 - $4.50 every time a subscriber clicks on it within your email.
This is how I earned the bulk of my money this year with ads.
Last month (Dec 2025) I earned $362.83, not bad for a part-time side hustle.
2. Beehiiv Boosts — How Do You Get Paid?
Beehiiv Boosts is a built-in promotion marketplace where you can get paid to promote other peoples newsletters.
Everyone time someone new signs up for your newsletter they’ll see a pop-up window asking if they want to subscribe to additional newsletters.
If they do…. You’ll get paid typically $1 - $3 per Subscriber.
I made $126 from Boosts this year, not bad for passive income on auto-pilot.
3. Beehiiv Paid Subscriptions — How Do You Get Paid?
Beehiiv has various tiers you can setup for your subscribers.
I always suggest starting with the free newsletter tier to grow your audience & earn trust from your readers.
If you have premium content, tips, tricks or tools you want to share with your paid audience you can reserve the more detailed techniques for paying customers.
4. Beehiiv Products — How Do You Get Paid?
Beehiiv has built-in support to sell digital products, files/download & coaching all from your newsletter.
This is an excellent additional revenue source you can setup on auto-pilot.

5. Amazon Affiliate Marketing — How Do You Get Paid?
Amazon Affiliate Marketing is the only outside revenue source I have that’s not built into Beehiiv directly.
Affiliate Marketing is where you promote other peoples products or services and get paid every time someone clicks your unique link and makes a purchase.
Last year I made $39.56 from affiliate marketing.
6. How Much Did I Earn in 2025?
In my first year writing my Beehiiv Newsletter, I’ve made a grand total of $1,351.40.
This includes all the money I made from Ads + Boosts + Affiliate Marketing all together.
