1. Create Your Account
Head over to Amazon Associates and sign-up using your existing Amazon account you purchase things with or a brand new email address.
Just remember to use a legit email and/or phone number because Amazon wants to confirm you are human and this will be a real affiliate marketing account.

2. List Account Information
Next, you’ll need to provide information such as your Name, Address, Contact Information.
Amazon asks for these details because they need to know who to make payments to.

3. Website/Mobile App List
Amazon asks for a full list of the locations/sites you’ll be promoting their products on.
Don’t overthink this one.. You can use your social media account urls or your blog/website.
This can even be a public Facebook group you may have, as long as it’s authentic you can use it.
List up to 50 websites or mobile apps to promote their products.
Remember the more places you list the more opportunities you have to earn commissions.

How Did Papaya Scale Support Without Hiring?
Papaya cut support costs by 50% and automated 90% of inquiries using Maven AGI’s AI-powered agent - no decision trees, no manual upkeep. Faster responses, happier customers, same team size.
4. Create Your Store ID
Next up is Creating your Profile.
When they ask you for your ‘preferred Associates Store ID’, this is basically just a name or label as an indicator to Amazon that your commissions belong to you.
At the end of your affiliate links your store id will be displayed, try to line this up with either your name, brand or company so everything remains uniform across your business.
When filling out the ‘Tell us about the content you create’ you don’t have to write a novel here, just give a accurate basic description of what you do online, who’s your target audience, etc.

5. Agree To Terms & Conditions
The final checkbox at the bottom is confirming you agree to follow their rules & disclaimers when promoting products.
It’s important to start off on the right foot to not get banned especially when you’re starting to make money with commissions.
The final step is entering your Payment/Tax information so you can get paid.
